Custard Factory Digbeth Birmingham Art Print

There aren’t many places in Birmingham quite as colourful as the Custard Factory.

At the heart of Digbeth, the former Bird’s Custard factory has become one of Birmingham’s best-known creative landmarks, home to independent businesses, shops, studios and some of the most distinctive architecture in the city.

This original Custard Factory Birmingham artwork captures the view from High Street Deritend in my loose watercolour and ink style. I love the colour, energy and slightly unconventional character of this part of Brum, and that’s exactly what I wanted to get into the drawing.

Reproduced as a high-quality art print, it makes colourful Birmingham wall art for anyone who loves Digbeth and the creative side of the city.

Digbeth art and a unique Birmingham gift

The Custard Factory has become synonymous with Digbeth and Birmingham’s independent creative scene, making this print a particularly good Birmingham gift for designers, artists, creatives and anyone who has lived, worked or spent rather a lot of time in Digbeth.

It also makes a distinctive Brummie leaving gift, housewarming present or piece of local artwork for a home, studio or office.

A donation of £2 from every artwork sold goes to the wonderful SIFA Fireside, supporting their incredible work with people experiencing homelessness in Birmingham. Thanks to everyone who has bought a Draw My City artwork, more than £7,000 has been raised so far – something I’m incredibly proud of.
