Moor Street station sunrise

Moor Street Station Birmingham Art Print at Sunrise

There’s something rather special about Moor Street Station first thing in the morning.

As the sun comes up over Birmingham city centre, the warm early light catches the station’s beautiful historic architecture, platforms and floral displays. For a few minutes, one of the busiest gateways into Brum can look surprisingly peaceful.

This original Moor Street Station artwork captures one of those sunrise moments in my loose watercolour and ink style.

Moor Street has always been one of my favourite Birmingham buildings. It’s a proper city landmark, but also somewhere thousands of us pass through as part of everyday life, whether we’re commuting to work, heading into town or arriving back home.

Birmingham railway art and a unique Brummie gift

This colourful Birmingham art print makes a distinctive gift for railway enthusiasts, commuters, architecture lovers and anyone with fond memories of arriving in the city through Moor Street.

It also makes a thoughtful Birmingham gift for someone leaving the city, moving into a new home or simply wanting a recognisable piece of Brum on the wall.

Available framed or unframed, it works beautifully as Birmingham wall art for a home, office or workspace.

Supporting SIFA Fireside:

A donation of £2 from every artwork sold goes to the wonderful SIFA Fireside, supporting their incredible work with people experiencing homelessness in Birmingham. Thanks to everyone who has bought a Draw My City artwork, more than £7,000 has been raised so far – something I’m incredibly proud of.

Birmingham waking up. Moor Street looking rather lovely.
