Camp Hill Flyover Birmingham vintage railways travel poster
Who remembers the old Camp Hill Flyover in Birmingham? It was a temporary structure built to relieve traffic congestion in the late 1960s and stayed in place until the late 1990s. It couldn’t have looked more ramshackle yet transported cars, trucks and buses of all shapes and sizes (imagine being on a double decker on that!) through the top of Digbeth and on to Camp Hill.
I’ve recreated it here as one of the popular vintage railways posters (see also The Ramp, Cotteridge, Kings Heath, Moseley and Stirchley, with more to come)
