130 Colmore Row Birmingham Art Print and Architecture Gift
Location, location, location. This beautiful Birmingham building has certainly got that bit sorted.
Standing on the corner of Colmore Row, Waterloo Street and Victoria Square, 130 Colmore Row occupies one of the best spots in Birmingham city centre. It’s a building I’ve always loved drawing, with its curved frontage, ornate architecture and a position right at the heart of Brum.
It has had a few lives over the years too. Once a banking hall and later Birmingham’s city centre tourist information office, the Grade II listed building is now home to Theatrix.
This original Birmingham artwork captures 130 Colmore Row in my loose watercolour and ink style, celebrating one of those city buildings that thousands of people walk past every day but is well worth stopping to look at.
Colmore Row art and a unique Birmingham gift
With Victoria Square on one side and Colmore Row stretching away on the other, this is a particularly good piece of Birmingham wall art for anyone who loves the architecture of the city centre.
It makes a distinctive Birmingham gift for proud Brummies, architecture lovers and people who live or work around Colmore Business District. It’s also a thoughtful Birmingham leaving gift for a colleague moving on from the city, or a piece of local artwork for an office, home or workspace.
